メルボルン研修を終えて

僕は、メルボルンの学校へ行き、まず習慣の違いに驚きました。授業のスタイルも違うし、授業が 終わったらすぐに帰宅することに驚きました。でもそのおかげで、メルボルンの家族とたくさんの時 間を過ごすことができたし、いろいろなところに連れていってもらい楽しく過ごすことができました。

また、この研修を通して「自由」の意味がわかってきたような気がします。ウィリアムスタウンＨ． Ｓはとても自由な雰囲気を感じましたが、授業には真剣に臨んでいるなど、自由であるためのしっか りとした生活ができているのだと思いました。

メルボルンの人たちはみんなフレンドリーで明るく接してくれたので、僕も人には笑顔で接してい こうと思いました。

日本の現状や地震のことをしっかりと伝えることができたし、学ぶこともとても多かった研修でし た。いつかまたメルボルンへいきたいと思います。

Since starting school in Melbourne, I have noticed some cultural differences, such as the style of classes at school and after school activities. I was quite surprised that everyone goes home straight after school. However, thanks to that extra time after school, I was able to spend more time with my host family and they kindly took me out to several different places. I had a great time.

Also, I feel that I have learnt the true meaning of ‘freedom’ through this study tour. Williamstown High School gave their students a relaxed learning environment but they still worked diligently during class time. I thought that the students at Williamstown High School are aware of how to behave in, what I would consider to be a “free” atmosphere.

The people in Melbourne greeted us with huge smiles and in such a friendly manner. In light of the lessons learned from this experience, I have promised myself that I am, from now on, going to greet others with a big smile and positive attitude.

Throughout this study tour, I have learnt a lot and I was able to deliver precisely Japan’s current situation regarding the earthquake. I hope one day I can visit Melbourne again.
