東日本大震災被災地の中学生をメルボルンに招待するプロジェクト

メルボルン研修を終えて

海外に行くのは初めてで、しかもホームスティという大きな壁があって不安でしたが、皆さんとても良い方々ばかりで、すぐに不安な無くなり、楽しく過ごすことができました。オーストラリアは、すごく自由で、自分のことも相手のことも大切にしてくれるのがオーストラリア人なんだなあと思い、すごく素敵だと思いました。　オーストラリアに来てすぐ感じたことは、まだまだ、自分の知らないことが沢山あるんだ、だからこそ知りたいと思ったことや挑戦したいと思ったことは、どんどんやって将来の自分に生かしていきたいと思いました。

今回、このプロジェクトに参加して強く感じたことは、「人との繋がり」の大切さです。　ホームスティとのお別れはとても寂しく、こんなに家族のようになれるとは思っていませんでした。その時に、国の違いを超えた、人との繋がりを感じました。このプロジェクトチームの方たちと知り合えたことも繋がりだと思うので、私にできることはぜひやらせてもらいたいです。　次に参加する方のアドバイスとして、やる気を持って参加することが大切だということです。その気さえあれば、コニュニケーションも取れるようになって、楽しい体験になると思います。

I had a good time in Australia although I was so nervous about my first trip to overseas for Homestay. It was easy once I started to communicate with Australian people. I found that Australia has lots of freedom in every aspect and Australian people care for the other people and themselves. I like Australia very much.

What I found on arriving in Australia was that there are so many things which I never knew in my life. Therefore it was a challenge to try new experiences which will be of great help for my future.
The relationship which we have achieved whilst experiencing homestay, was so important. We felt sad when we have to return home after we made strong relationship with homestay family members. I realise that we made a strong ties with Australian people who are living in the foreign country. I made even a strong tie with people who are involved in this project; therefore I like to offer my help with whatever I can.

I like to advise the students who will participate in next year in the same projects, that it is very important for them to have a positive manner. It will be so enjoyable experiences if you attend with your definite interest. I like to show my gratitude to the people who were involved and made this plan comes true.
