メルボルン研修を終えて

　オーストラリアの学校を体験して、日本より自由だと思いました。また、日本のような上下関係がなく、どんな人とも接していてすごいなあ、と思いました。また、みんな、とてもフレンドリーで、僕のように知らない日本人でも気軽に話しかけてくれました。

　ホームスティ先では、お客としてでなく、本当に家族のように迎え入れてくれて、とてもうれしかったです。

　オーストラリアに行く前は、一部のグループとだけ遊んでいましたが、オーストラリアに行ってみて、どんな人とでも、笑顔で接して行きたいと思いました。

The most outstanding aspect of Australian schools, through my experience in attending one of them, was its freedom. Unlike Japanese schools, that have a very strict senior-junior hierarchy system, everyone seems equal to each other. The students were all amazingly friendly and they were not shy about talking to me.

I want to say thank you to my host family for accepting me as one of their family members. I was welcomed beyond ordinary hospitality, I am so very pleased to have stayed with you.

I used to hang around only with my limited group of friends before I made a trip to Australia, but now I have seen how friendly the people in Australia are, and it touched me deeply. I would like to follow their examples and treat anyone who comes my way with a welcoming smile.
