東日本大震災被災地の中学生をメルボルンに招待するプロジェクト

メルボルン研修を終えて

言葉の壁は大きく最初は自分の英語に自信がありませんでしたが、１０日間の滞在で、しっかりとその壁を破ることができました。学校体験も、初めは少し不安がありましたが、皆さんとても優しく接してくださり、英語を通じて心を通わし、気軽に話したりプレゼンテーションをしたりできました。ホームスティでも食事、生活などの「文化の違い」も英語を通じて心を通わすことができました。

オーストラリアのイメージも断然違っていて、知識の広さに関しても、自分が知らないことがまだまだありました。　ここに来て、感じたことは、心配しないこと！積極的に話す事！そして大いに楽しみ、知識をしっかりと吸収すること！有意義に過ごし、よく観察すること！、違いを観て経験を積んで、失敗を恐れないこと！

この経験で得たものは大きく、自分の将来に役立つ、大変すばらしい機会になったと感じました。　次回の参加者に対して一言、このプロジェクトには沢山の方たちが関わっており、そのご苦労の末に自分たちが楽しめる、ということの有難味を知ること・・が大事です。　

I could break through the difficult language barrier after 10 days stay in Melbourne although I did not have confidence in my English when I arrived in Australia. Australian students are all kind and I have enjoyed the school life through our English conversation and through our collaborative presentation.

I found that before I arrive at Australia I had a wrong image of Australia. I gained extra knowledge about Australia.

I have learned many life lessons, such as “Don’t worry” “Be positive” “Acquire any knowledge” “Enjoy life” “Importance of observation” “Do not afraid to mistake the mistake “ My experience through the home stay and attending Australian school was a great opportunity and what I have learned during this time will be so useful for my future life.
I like to convey my message to the next year’s students who are going to attend this project that they must appreciate the valuable opportunity provided by many participants and volunteers workers.
